The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office Warrant and Report section is a division of the Civil Affairs Command, under the direct supervision of the Lieutenant of the Civil Division. This office consists of five Office Assistants and an Office Manager. The Warrant Office works closely with the Court Clerks, Judges and District Attorney's offices in processing arrest warrants. Warrants are assigned to sworn Deputies where service is attempted and/or made. The Warrant Office processes approximately eighteen thousand warrants per year.
The Report Section is responsible for tracking and processing all incident/offense reports generated by the sworn deputies as a result of calls for service as well as investigations. This section processes approximately five thousand incident/offense reports per year.
The Warrant Office does not release warrant information to the general public, neither by phone nor in person, because of privacy policies. However, if someone believes they have a warrant for their arrest, they should come to the Baldwin County Sheriff's Correction Center booking office located in Bay Minette or take a photo id to any local law enforcement agency.
