Inmate Services

Video Visitation

Making an Appointment

Appointments will be scheduled by registering and scheduling at www.icsolutions.com or by using the registration kiosk in the Visitation Lobby.

If any issues occur when scheduling or creating an account, you may contact IC Solutions Video Support @ 1 (888) 646-9437. 

All visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance and up to one week in advance.

Visitation Times

The following are times available for video visits during normal work days:

Monday and Thursday
8:00 am, 8:30am, 9:00 am, 9:30 am, 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm, 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm, 3:00 pm, 3:30pm, 4:00pm, 4:30pm, 5:00pm, 5:30pm, 7:00pm, 7:30pm, 8:00 pm

Wednesday No visitation

Tuesday and Friday
8:00 am, 8:30am, 9:00 am, 9:30 am, 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm, 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm, 3:00 pm, 3:30pm, 4:00pm, 4:30pm, 5:00pm, 5:30pm, 7:00pm, 7:30pm, 8:00 pm, 8:30pm, 9:00pm, 9:30pm

Holiday:
The inmate will be notified as to any changes to the " normal" visitation schedule due to holidays and /or any special commitments.

Rules for Visitation

The following are the rules as they are presented to the general public:

  • If you have not made an appointment at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of your visit, you will not be allowed in the Center.
  • You may sign in up to 15 minutes prior to the visit.
  • All visitors entering the Center are subject to search by Correctional Staff.
  • You must have a valid state issued Driver’s License or ID. All children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. 
  • Each inmate is allowed two visits per week on separate days
  • Any missed (no show) visitations that was scheduled will count towards the allowed amount during that week
  • Visits are limited to 25 minutes for video visitation. You must make your own appointment.
  • Only 4 persons may visit with an inmate at a time; this includes children. 
  • All personal property will be left outside the confines of the Center. No cellphones, baby strollers, purses, books, pocket knives, handbags, keys, cigarettes, lighters, etc., will be authorized.
  • Unsupervised or unruly children will not be allowed in the Center and will result in termination of the visit.
  • Visits may be terminated for any emergency situation which may arise.
  • Inappropriate clothing will result in the visit not taking place. Inappropriate clothing includes: short shorts, halter tops, tank tops, strapless tops, sleeveless tops, extremely tight clothing, low cut, V-neck or see through blouses, short/mini dresses or dresses with slits up the thigh, caps, bandannas, or house shoes. Shorts must come to the knee! All visitors must wear undergarments. The Visitation Officer has the final decision on visitor’s attire.
  • The following visitors will not be allowed: Co Defendants, Parties actively involved in a Domestic Violence case, any person with an active warrant.  

Violating Visitation Policy

Visiting privileges may be cancelled, denied, restricted, and / or suspended under the following circumstances, but not limited to:

  • Visitors found to be in violation of the rules will be subject to temporary or permanent suspension of visiting privileges or other appropriate action.
  • Inmates found in violation of the rules will be subject to temporary or permanent suspension of visiting privileges or other appropriate action.
  • (2) or more unattended scheduled visitation appointments within a 30-day period may result in suspension of video privileges.

Telephone Service

Collect Calling allows inmates to place calls to telephone number. if you accept a collect call from an inmate, the cost of that call will be billed as a line item on your next regular phone bill as "Billed on behalf of IC Solutions". 

Inmate Deposits

  • Money may be sent to inmates during confinement. Money can be sent in two different forms.

    The Baldwin County Sheriff's Corrections Center has a Kiosk located in the Public Docket Lobby and the Visitation Lobby which can accept cash or credit/debit cards for deposit into an inmates account.
  • An Internet Deposit @ JailATM.com

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

              1. Jail's location and name of facility

              2. Inmate First and Last Name
              3. Inmate's ID Number
              4. Your billing address and credit card information

Mail

The mailing address to send mail to an Inmate is as follows;

All written incoming non-privileged (personal) mail must be on a postcard no larger than 4”x 6” in dimension and written in blue or black ink only. No embellishments, colored inks, markers, crayons, colored pencils, paint, etc., will be accepted.

The following must be present as the return address on all correspondence addressed to the inmate while incarcerated at the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Corrections Center: Sender’s First and last name, Complete Mailing address, City, State and Zip Code

Return addresses must be hand written in blue or black ink only. No colored inks, markers, crayons, colored pencils, paint, stamps, stickers etc., will be accepted.

Inmates may receive photograph postcards no larger than 4”x 6” in dimension. These photograph postcards must meet the same standards as all other non-privileged incoming mail.

Metered (no postage stamps) postcards for outgoing non-privileged mail will be available for purchase from the Center’s Commissary and will be no larger than 4”x 6” in dimension.

All written incoming non-privileged (personal) mail will be delivered to the inmate in digital format and the inmate will be allowed to request the hard copy upon release. All document request policies will apply at the time of the request.

Books, Magazines, and newspapers are no longer allowed to be mailed to inmates in the corrections center. Inmate will have access to reading material on the inmate tablet and the center’s library. Reading materials are also available for purchase via commissary.

Packages to the inmates are not authorized.

Inmate Emails

Inmates are able to communicate via emails. The email service provides an alternative to phone and video visitation communications. Emails are allowed to receive attachments with pictures however are screened for compliance with corrections center policies.

How to Create an Email Account

  1. Click Sign in at the Top Right Corner
  2. Enter Your Email Address (Please be sure to enter your complete email address. IE: johndoe123@emaildomain.com)
  3. Fill Out All Information on the Personal Details Form
  4. Click Save
  5. Create A Password
  6. Check Your Email, There Will Be an Activation Link. Click on It or Copy the Link and Paste into Your Browser
  7. Sign in Using Your Email Address and Password

Commissary

Inmates incarcerated in the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Corrections Center are allowed to make purchases for food items and personal items. The inmate can place orders for goods on the center’s approval list. Inmates can use funds on their inmate account. They can purchase items such as clothing, food, and gold passes for tablet services.

Attorney Visitation

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Corrections Center provides (3) three options for attorney visitation.

  • Video visitation is currently set to not record any visitation scheduled by attorneys. All attorneys assigned as a public defender will obtain the video visitation at no cost.

     

  • Face to Face Visitation is available Monday –Sunday, with the exception of black out times. The visitation location will be in the visitation division during business hours with the exception of Wednesdays and during times of more than three attorney conference. The intake location will be available after hours and during the time of an overflow from the visitation division with the exception of black out times.

     

  • Email services are available for attorneys. All public defenders are approved to use the service without cost. All other attorneys will incur the cost of using the service. The emails marked legal will not be monitored.
